Diana KrallのWallflower は大変なアルバムである。古今の名曲のカバーアルバムで、Krallが歌っているというだけでなく、プロデュースが David Fosterなんである。あー。
で、California Dreamin' はJohn Phillips and Michelle Phillipsの曲で、The Mamas & The Papas の1965年のカバーでヒット(by Wikipedia)。歌詞とかよくわからないけど、とにかくかりふぉーにあである。

さて、なにがいいたいかというと、このKrallのカバーがかっこいいということ。特に、この一音（というか二音）にやられます。
コードがGになるところのC#とEの二重倚音。G の11th 13thととってもいいですが、何しろこれがカッコいい。ピアノでこれだけ弾いてもなんのこっちゃですが、全体のサウンドのなかでこの倚音が効くのです。
